23 July

Erin and Kathryne are leaving today, so I must bid farewell to these two wonderful girls who have been my constant companions for the past month.  I shall miss them.  This morning, we had a family chat and marvelled over our experiences, remembered their richness, and drank in each other and our tea.  Before they leave, we have one last trip to Nakumatt (the grocery store) to make, so I have little time to blog, but here is a bit of fun:

Amy, a good friend from home, who just started her Fulbright year teaching English in South Korea, has a marvellous blog.

And Kathryne, who will be travelling throughout southeast Asia, Australia, and India until November, also has a blog with photographs of some of our adventures.

Off my friends are, to new places and people and ideas . . .
