Est-ce que ceci un blog ou une blague?

Qu’est-ce que c’est que ça?

Summer school

Ah, how many things I have learned this summer.  One is what a Long Island Iced Tea is.  I am terribly disappointed that it contains no tea.  (See also: my case against the “Tea” Party; the Boston “Tea” Party; debutante “teas”; the “North”; and disappointment with the mediocre tea culture in postmodern society.)  I am also disappointed that it manages to contain practically every kind of liquor excluding whiskey, which is the only kind worth drinking.  Curiously, it happens to fall under the category of my “favourite drink”, the famed gin and rum that arrived by epiphany in the summer of 2011.  It will also make you a bit wobbly.

"Oh, he's not wobbling, he's just fine."

“Oh, he’s not wobbling, he’s just fine.”  See also: weddings of 2013.

For the rest of the summer, I will forgo these so-called drinks and adhere to a strict diet of Paleo-Orthodoxy.

South African reserve

“Hou altyd iets oor.”

It means, “Keep a reserve always,” but if you ask google translate, it says, “Always keep something on,” which may not be a good idea if one’s clothes are burning.

Unless one is prepared to die for modesty’s sake.

Which any good nun would be.

Where Am I?
