Letters

Write to me at my little house in Winston-Salem.

Official work address for a certain science elf:

Box 2645
Duke University Medical Center
Durham, NC 27710

Write to me at school no more!

Box 94727
Durham, NC 27708

Write to me at home!  I have no address in Kenya.  Also, take photographs of your letters and send them so that I can read about your life right now : )

South Africa days . . .

Let’s play the letter adventure game!

The rules are 1) find out where I’ll be 7-10 days after you post your letter, and 2) send a long letter there.  Who doesn’t want to chase their friends around the world with letters?  Bonus points (or creepy points) if you find out without asking me.  I’ll give you hints here and there about my near-future whereabouts.

Hint: on May 20 and 21, I’ll be at the Pastel guest house in Durban.  For the days preceding that little jaunt . . . it’s a mystery.

The actual place we’re staying. Time for tea.

Because I actually want to receive letters, here’s my address until May 30:

Makhaya Guest House
No. 1 Second Avenue
Melville, Johannesburg
2092 South Africa
. . . Latest address (probably until I leave):
37 First Avenue
Melville, Johannesburg
2092 South Africa

Old news…

Write letters to me!  I will write back with heaps of interesting details and stories that aren’t in the blog.  You can write to me at either address.

Vanderbilt-in-France
15 rue Cardinale
13100 Aix-en-Provence
France

Or…

26 cours de la Trinité
13100 Aix-en-Provence
France

If you write to me at the Vanderbilt centre, I can read your letters excitedly between classes, and if you write to me at my auberge, I can check the little post box by the door that the post man drops letters in through a little slot.  So the choice really depends upon your romantic sensibilities.
